MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode. If 4gb is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5gb in some cases or less depending on operating system configuration and memory allocation. Microsoft Windows vista supports 3GB maximum memory with 32-bit operating system. A 64-bit operating system doesn’t have such limitation.
